At KnitSupplyShop, we want you to be as delighted with your fiber arts supplies as we are when creating them for you. Just as you carefully select your bast fibers and felting wool, we carefully craft this returns policy to ensure a smooth process if your purchase doesn’t meet your creative needs.
Our Return Promise
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order, whether it’s drum carder parts that don’t fit your equipment or knitting yarn that wasn’t quite the right shade for your project.
Please Note: For the safety of all our customers, certain items cannot be returned:
- Opened or used fiber preparation tools (combs & hackles, hand carders)
- Custom-dyed yarns from our bulk yarn for dyeing selection
- Opened craft kits (including crochet kits and dimensional felting kits)
- Any products that have been washed, processed, or contaminated
Return & Exchange Process
Follow these simple steps, as carefully as you’d prepare your cellulose fibers:
- Contact Us within 15 days of receipt at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return
- Wait for Approval – Our fiber-loving team will respond within 2 business days with return instructions
- Package Securely – Return items in their original packaging, just as we carefully package our blending boards and drum carders
- Ship Back – Send to our studio at: Alexandra Sales Store

Refunds & Processing Time
Once we receive your return:
- Processing Time: 3-5 business days to inspect returned items
- Refund Method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Refund Timeframe:
- Credit Cards: 5-10 business days after processing
- PayPal: 3-5 business days after processing
- Exchanges: We’ll ship your replacement within 2 business days of approval
Note: Original shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases of our error.
International Returns
For our global customers (excluding Asia and certain remote areas):
- You are responsible for return shipping costs
- Please mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid customs fees
- We recommend using tracked shipping (like DHL or FedEx) for your protection
